CabLink In-cab Communication

CabLink In-cab Commmunication Features

Locate Trucks On Schedule or On-demand

Reduce or eliminate time-consuming check calls, so your dispatchers and drivers can get back to work. CabLink™ locates all your trucks and provides a full, accurate report - on your schedule or on-demand. Your dispatchers will know the precise location, status and heading of each truck in your fleet every morning, before they pour their first cup of coffee. A second report at the end of each day can help them plan tomorrow’s routes.

Deliver precise messages with fewer distractions

Most messages between dispatchers and drivers are routine and repetitive. CabLink gives you preformatted templates for you to determine the routine messages you want to send your drivers. In some cases, the driver need not send a return message, since CabLink uses a 2-way messaging system, in which all messages are confirmed and acknowledged.

Driver instructions are sent in text format, so there are no misunderstandings, and confirmed receipt eliminates the temptation for drivers to reply while behind the wheel. Reduce driver distractions with CabLink, and promote road safety.

Locate Assets for Cost-Effective Deployment

CabLink provides fully integrated, two-way satellite communications to locate and track your power units.

The system lets you poll truck locations and send/receive reports anywhere in North America. Most companies choose pre-scheduled polling twice each day, but you can also poll on demand.

The convenient, Web-based interface gives you easy access to business-critical information, including Location and Proximity Reports, to save your time and resources and improve your customer service.

Asset location tracking with CabLink helps you:
  • Eliminate out-of-route miles with advanced geofencing
  • Replace 2-3 hours a day on check calls with automated reports
  • Accurately report International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) fuel and mileage, including state line crossings
  • Enhance driver/dispatcher communications
  • View integrated Google™ maps
  • Track trip mileage and truck MPG usage for increased fuel efficiency
