The DAT Rate Exchange is a consortium of brokers, carriers, broker-carriers and shippers who anonymously pool rate data based on actual invoiced spot market transactions. This pooled data provides an accurate, timely barometer of spot market rates for vans, reefers, and flatbeds across U.S. lanes and lanes between the U.S. and Canada. The Exchange provides rates from brokers, for brokers – not factored loads or bids
