Reefer Rates Rise 3¢

Week of April 13 - 19 - Reefer load volume in major markets was strong last week, despite a 5.8% drop in reefer loads nationally. The national average rate was up 3¢ to $2.28 per mile. Florida markets rose sharply, while California markets showed strength, just as reports suggest the impact of the drought could be minimal.
