MyDAT Trucker Services to Add Hotels4Truckers – and Find Truck Service

BEAVERTON, Ore.— TransCore DAT, which operates the truckload freight industry’s largest and most trusted network of load boards, will be releasing a new version of its popular free Android app, MyDAT Trucker Services. The update, available in April, includes comprehensive listings of trucker-friendly hotels from Hotels4Truckers, and heavy-duty parts and service locations from Find Truck Service.

In addition to accessing nearby truck stops, fuel locations, rest stops, truck washes, Walmarts, CAT scale locations, and available loads, users of the MyDAT app will be able to search for lodging with Hotels4Truckers, the industry’s most comprehensive directory of hotels with parking for tractor-trailers.

We're pleased to be front and center on the My DAT Trucker Services app,” said Dan Fuller, president and founder of Hotels4Truckers. Users will be eligible for up to 20% discounts at popular hotel chains like Motel 6, Red Roof Inn, Americas Best Value Inn, Comfort Inn, and Super 8. Listings can be easily sorted by distance and direction, and hotels with discounts are clearly indicated by a special icon. The app provides details including the address and highway exit information, a phone number for reservations, and hotel amenities.

MyDAT Trucker Services also includes access to Find Truck Service, a national directory of 30,000 heavy-duty truck parts and service locations. Users can search for mobile repair services, truck and trailer parts, and other services. “With our location-specific search, we provide users the closest option available and always more than one choice,” said Amer Avdic, president and founder of Find Truck Service.

The app is free and available for download in the Google Play store.

MyDAT Trucker Services makes it easy to find services that truck drivers use the most, including nearby available loads on the DAT load board network. The app is available for iPhone and Android devices and has been downloaded more than 150,000 times since its original release in May 2011. It is consistently among the Top 30 free apps in the Transportation category at the Google Play store.
