National Reefer Rates
National Reefer Rate Moves Down 4¢

Aug 6- 12 - Reefer rates have been moving up and down from week to week. Last week the national average reefer rate declined 4¢ to $2.08 per mile, after rising 4¢ the previous week. Rates have remained above $2.00 per mile for the past 12 weeks. The national load-to-truck ratio declined compared to the previous week.

July Reefer Rate Up 15¢ Year Over Year

Spot market rates declined 4¢ from their June peak, to their second-highest monthly average in two years for reefers. At $2.08 per mile, the July average rate was 15¢ higher than the average for July 2016.
