For example, DAT Carrier Select uses your submitted data to display your actual lanes alongside their Market Delta. The Market Delta is the difference between your network’s costs on these lanes and the benchmark rates based on DAT customer contributions, indicating the potential opportunity if you were to negotiate with that carrier to match DAT benchmark contract rates. If negotiations aren’t successful, Shippers can search for alternative carriers based on their specific needs and find a minimum of 20 carriers per lane that can meet those specifications.
