Claude Pumilia


Claude brings more than 25 years' experience in general management, strategic planning and development, and organizational disciplines to DAT. Prior to joining DAT Solutions, Claude served in executive leadership roles at several technology firms including Hewlett Packard Company and CA Technologies. He also spent several years with McKinsey & Company consulting for healthcare, energy, and technology industries. Claude also serves as a Group Executive for Roper Technologies.

Claude earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia and completed his undergraduate degree in Economics and Managerial Studies at Rice University.

Don Thornton

Don has more than 30 years' experience in transportation technology and sales. Before joining DAT Solutions in 2001, Don served as vice president of business development and technology at Market Transport in Portland, Oregon. He has also worked in sales and operations for large companies including Lockheed Martin, IBM and Wynd Communications.

Don earned his MBA at Pepperdine University in California and completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at California State University, Chico. For more than a decade Don has served on the Board of Directors for the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA).

Fergus Caldicott

Vice President

Fergus is responsible for the software development and, system management teams, and is passionate about delivering world-class products that delight our customers. He joined DAT Solutions in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles in the areas of business and technology. Fergus has spent his entire career in the software field, working for both small Bay-area startups and large multinationals.

Fergus has an MBA from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire in England.

Buck Brody

Vice President

Buck joined DAT Solutions in 2014 after heading up the finance group at Roper Technologies subsidiary Inovonics Wireless, a leader in high-performance wireless sensor networks for commercial and life safety applications. Prior to this role, Buck was a financial analyst at Roper, providing business unit performance analysis, due diligence and valuation research. Earlier in his career he worked in the U.S Senate and at Prologue Capital. He holds both an M.B.A and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Eileen W. Hart

Vice President
Marketing & Corporate Communications

Eileen leads the company's full service communications agency, which includes the publication of industry supply, demand and rate indices as well as in-depth commentary on a variety of issues and challenges facing the trucking transportation industry. With a number of subject matter experts, DAT provides insight and actionable information that benefits the transportation professionals we serve.

Before joining DAT Solutions in 2000, Eileen served in leadership roles in marketing, market research, product management and sales in consumer products, pharmaceutical and software industries. She has a business degree from San Francisco State University.
