Last year DAT Solutions launched a new feature called Company Reviews. It gives members of the DAT network—carriers, brokers and shippers—the ability to rate and review companies they’ve worked with. As with any review site, the more reviews we have, the more helpful it will be to our customers. So, for a limited time, we’re offering a free Starbucks card if you write a review.
When calling on a load or bidding on RFPs, you need to have reliable pricing information for those lanes. If you run the same lanes every day, that’s no problem. But if you’re running on a less familiar lane, or if the market conditions are up-and-down, you need to know what the going rates are so you can get the best price for your trucks.

Ever called on a load and found out that your fellow dispatcher already called about it? DAT Power is the only load board in the trucking industry with search tools for groups, which means that you can eliminate that redundant effort.
Freight brokers know that their ability to track loads gives them a competitive advantage. The only problem is that not all carriers have tracking devices. There are tracking apps for smart phones, but fewer than 40 percent of drivers have smart phones. Now there's a solution.

img class=blog_preview_image_left src=https://www.dat.com/site/assets/media/blog/2015/03/power-pop-up-with-bubbles-blog1.pngYou need to find a truck and you need it NOW. Everyone on your team pitches in, frantically searching the load boards. When you’re working in groups, “swarming” is common. Now, there’s a tool that can keep you and your co-workers from duplicating efforts and calling on the same truck—and it's only available to DAT customers./p

Now more than ever, speed matters when it comes to finding the best loads. The new web-based version of DAT Power shows loads in real time, meaning loads are added to the search results the second they're added. Completely redesigned from the ground up, the load board will allow you to work more efficiently, whether you're filling one truck or 100. See how you can start using it today.

The best-paying loads don’t stay available for long, so you can’t always wait until you’re in front of a computer to find them. Luckily, DAT has plenty of options to keep you connected while you’re on the move.
Based on customer feedback, we’ve added a new feature to Company Reviews that sends you an email alert when your company is reviewed in the DAT Directory. This will allow you to either congratulate your team for a job well done, or fix a problem early on. The email alert will tell you who wrote the review, the company the reviewer works for, the rating, and the subject line of the review. If your company has multiple offices, it will also tell you what office has been reviewed.
One of the most useful tools a broker can have at his or her fingertips is a map application designed specifically for the trucking industry. That’s why DAT Keypoint recently integrated ALK(R) maps, powered by PC*MILER, into our TMS.
