PORTLAND, Ore., March 23, 2016 — DAT Solutions has expanded the LaneMakers feature in DAT Power, the industry’s most widely used and advanced load board, to help brokers find carriers on lanes where capacity is tight. Likewise, carriers can use LaneMakers to locate brokers who move freight on lanes they would like to run.

“LaneMakers helps brokers more quickly find capacity on lanes they have not historically covered, where available capacity is spoken for, or when the carrier’s posted trucks do not meet the brokers’ selection criteria,” said Greg Sikes, VP Products at DAT Solutions. “Likewise, LaneMakers enables carriers to better identify the top posting brokers on their preferred lanes.”

LaneMakers is fully integrated within DAT Power and can support all searches, including city to city, state to state, and zone to zone. It supports searching for a class of equipment (such as flatbed) or a specific equipment type (such as removable gooseneck). LaneMakers is integrated with the DAT Directory, so brokers can check carriers’ authority, safety rating and insurance; and carriers can check brokers’ credit scores and days-to-pay.
