Join DAT for a free night out with one of Country music’s biggest rising stars
Beaverton, OR., February 17, 2023 — DAT Freight & Analytics is proud to support the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY, the nation’s biggest heavy-duty trucking show. DAT will have a major presence at the event, with live product demos of the powerful new DAT One app, speaking sessions, giveaways, and exclusive sponsorship of a MATS tradition: the Friday Night Concert at Freedom Hall Arena, headlined by Country music star Elvie Shane, 2022 ACM New Male Artist of the Year Nominee, and featuring Tony Justice, independent country music star and full-time truck driver as the opener.
Tickets for the concert are free, with 15,000 total available. The only way to get them is by stopping at the DAT booth (#65216) in the West Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center during MATS show hours on Thursday, March 30, and Friday, March 31. Attendees will have the chance to win an Elvie Shane signed Gibson 60s J-45 Original guitar, which will be on display at the DAT booth and presented to the winner on stage at the concert.
Event attendees visiting the DAT booth can also receive 1:1 product demos of the new DAT One app, which gives truckers access to the industry’s largest load board network (DAT’s Load Board) on a unified platform with integrated load tracking, improved search filtering, access to rate data, interactive mapping tools for profitable trip planning and the ability to post trucks with rates for better-targeted inquiries from brokers.
“We’re thrilled to be gathering with the larger trucking community at MATS again this year, complete with an awesome concert by country music star Elvie Shane,” said Jeff Hopper, DAT’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Truckers are the backbone of our nation – they ensure that the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and the products we rely upon are available to people every day across this country. We hope that this concert provides truckers and the greater industry a time to relax, have fun, and celebrate the work they’ve accomplished.”
The third of four children to his church-going gospel-singing mother and truck-driving, hell-raising father, Elvie Shane defines country with a new kind of twang. Shane’s hit single, “My Boy,” has earned him an RIAA-certified Platinum and established him in the ranks of other Nashville country music stars.
Since 1972, MATS – Mid-America Trucking Show has become the world’s largest and longest-running annual heavy-duty trucking event.
