TransCore Offers 50 Percent Off First Month on Top Truck Load Boards

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brokers, carriers, and third party logistic providers (3PLs) looking to take advantage of the recovery in the spot freight market, have until January 31, 2010, to acquire TransCore’s best load board products at significant discounts. For the balance of December 2009, through January 31 2010, new TransCore customers will receive a discount of 40 percent on the first month’s service for TransCore’s 3sixty™ Freight Match Power User, or 50 percent off the company’s flagship 3sixty Total Power package.

Both the Power User and Total Power load board products have the fastest access to TransCore’s DAT® Network, where freight brokers, 3PLs, carriers, and owner-operators in North America list more than 50 million loads and trucks annually. Approximately 70 percent of TransCore’s spot market listings are exclusive or found first on the company’s load boards. Speed is essential for customers who need the fastest turn-around time between posting a load or listing a truck and a transaction.

3sixty Freight Match Power User and Total Power provide the ability to do multiple, simultaneous posts and searches, enabling customers to move more freight in the shortest amount of time. As the names imply, Power User is intended for single users while Total Power enables offices with multiple users to work as a team.

TransCore recently reported that freight availability on the spot market was up 65 percent year over year, continuing a 9-month trend that began in February. In November, there were approximately 2.5 loads for every truck listed.

The discounts are being offered with a six-month contract for new or returning TransCore load board customers who have not had an active account with the company for at least one year prior to beginning or renewing service.

TransCore’s DAT Network began in 1978 and has set the industry standard ever since, with the most loads and trucks found on any load board on the internet or in truck stops.
