Flatbed rates halt slide

Dec 2 - 8 - The national average for flatbed rates hit $2.43 per mile last week. The 3¢ uptick over the November average marks the first increase for the national flatbed rate in five months. Flatbeds drop 7¢ in November

The national average flatbed rate dropped 7¢ in November compared to October, landing at $2.40 per mile. Despite the declining trend, the monthly rate was still 8¢ higher than the average for November 2017.
