National reefer rate drops 6¢

Oct 7 - 13 - The national average rate for reefers dropped 6¢ to $2.46 per mile last week, as freight volumes and the national load-to-truck ratio fell.

September reefer rates up 13% Y-O-Y

September's national average reefer rate was $2.52 per mile, 3¢ above the August average. Compared to September 2017, the rate was 28¢ higher, a 13% increase.
