Week in Review – 4/20

< Back to posts

Happy Friday everyone!

This week in review, we have some great articles for you, and some blog posts you might find interesting as well!

Trucking has been well-represented in the world of legislation recently, and this week was no exception. Earlier this week, the House voted on an extension to the highway bill. Our own Michele Greene wrote a blog post about it here.

Steve Grabell, CFO of a New Jersey trucking firm, took action to promote a bill that would allow the Secretary of Transportation to reject toll increases on certain highways and bridges. What do you think about it?

Do you have trouble sleeping, possibly related to sleep apnea? It looks like the folks at FMCSA have some concerns they want to address. Everyone should take their health seriously, and the Healthy Trucking Association of America has some good information for you! Do you have any tips and tricks to stay in shape on the road?

Our monthly newsletters went out this week, and with them a bunch of great blog posts! Rate trends, photos from the TIA conference, insurance information and more. Check them out right here on the Freight Talk Blog.

Whether you’re off for the weekend or working through it, have a great one. Seatbelts, everyone!
