New Email Alert Notifies You When Your Company is Reviewed

< Back to posts

BrokerBased on customer feedback, we’ve added a new feature to Company Reviews that sends you an email alert when your company is reviewed in the DAT Directory. This will allow you to either congratulate your team for a job well done, or fix a problem early on.

As my colleague Michele Greene wrote in her August blog post Are You Managing Your Company’s Online Reputation?, monitoring your reviews and responding in a timely manner is critical to maintaining a good reputation.

The email alert will tell you who wrote the review, the company the reviewer works for, the rating, and the subject line of the review. If your company has multiple offices, it will also tell you what office has been reviewed. See sample email alert below.

If we have your email address, you’ll receive these alerts by default. If you don’t want to receive email alerts when your company is reviewed, you can unsubscribe by going to the Manager Reputation tab in the DAT Directory. See below.

We’ve also added another automated feature. When you submit a review of a company, you’ll receive an email notifying you whether your review has been approved. If your review is rejected, you’ll receive an email explaining why. (See our guidelines for reviewing a company.)

About Company Reviews

DAT Solutions launched Company Reviews in January, allowing DAT customers to rate other DAT customers. Carriers can review brokers and shippers, and brokers and shippers can review carriers. It has become quite popular with our customers and thousands of company reviews have been posted.
