Spot market truck capacity eases by 6.7%, compared to prior week

Spot market equipment capacity increased by 6.7% overall for the week, led by a 7.3% surge in van capacity in the week of November 7-13, compared to the previous week. Spot market load availability declined by 4.4%, led by a 7.8% dip in loads designated for flatbeds. Loads were down by 3.2% for vans, while reefer load volume was unchanged, week over week.
