Fight back against phishing
Phishing scams are one of the most common tricks cybercriminals use to steal personal or company information—and they’re getting sneakier every year. Here’s how to recognize these scams before they do damage.
Phishing messages often:
- Pretend to be from trusted sources
- Urgently ask you to click a link or provide personal info
- Include strange email addresses, spelling errors, or unusual requests
Before you click or reply:
- Pause and think: Does this email seem unexpected or suspicious?
- Verify the sender: Don’t trust the display name alone- check the full email address.
- Go direct: If in doubt, visit the company’s official website or call them using a known and trusted number.
A little caution goes a long way—don’t let a scammer reel you in.
