DAT is testing a new way of bringing together our portfolio to deliver more automation solutions to our customers. This will give brokers more visibility for the loads they’ve opted-in to automate, while giving carriers more access to additional opportunities without changing who owns the freight relationship.
For carriers, this means select broker-posted loads from the Convoy Platform may appear in the DAT One load board. These loads will direct carriers to the Convoy Platform before they can view full details or move forward.
For brokers, this puts your Convoy Platform-posted loads in front of DAT One’s carrier network and lets the Convoy Platform handle coverage on loads that don’t need as much attention. For the freight that makes sense, automation can reduce back-and-forth while the broker stays in control.
The goal is simple: help brokers and carriers connect more efficiently and bring more freight opportunities to our customers.
The Convoy Platform is DAT’s freight automation product, built to help brokers cover more spot loads without more manual work. It matches eligible loads to carriers quickly based on parameters the broker sets, cutting the back-and-forth on straightforward freight without removing the broker from the decision. Loads are posted by brokers, who continue to own and manage their freight throughout the process. The Convoy Platform is not a broker.
Brokers: if you are interested in cross-posting loads to maximize visibility, reach out to your account representative for more information.
