How St. Christopher’s Truckers Relief Fund changes lives

< Back to posts

Truckers are the lifeblood of the economy. Their work is difficult, essential, and often goes unrecognized. As a result, they’re often underserved by the services and help many of us take for granted, mainly physical and mental health resources, financial aid, and emotional support.

That’s why DAT is excited to announce a new partnership with the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund. This collaboration is a commitment to develop health initiatives that serve the unsung heroes of our roads: truckers. St. Christopher’s mission is simple — save lives by charitably giving aid to truckers in need.

Below you’ll hear the stories of the beneficiaries of St. Christopher’s work.

“This organization is truly a life-saver for so many truckers. They understand us and truly save lives.  I owe them a debt of gratitude and I am forever thankful!”

“I’m so thankful for the help I received from St. Christopher Truckers Fund. My husband suddenly passed away while I was on the road. I was devastated by this emotionally and financially. I didn’t know what I was going to do. One of his friends suggested reaching out to SCF – something I knew nothing about. They helped lift some of the burden. The process was fast and easy. I am forever grateful for this organization.”

“We wanted to thank SCF for helping us when our world came crashing down. We will never be able to thank your organization enough. My truck driver was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. Helping to pay our bills the first month of no income was very appreciated. I pray your organization continues to grow leaps and bounds.”

“The St. Christopher Truckers Fund is an awesome organization. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and am undergoing radiation treatments. I have to be off for a minimum of 2 months and it’s mentally exhausting and financially devastating on top of everything else. I applied on a Wednesday and was approved the following Monday. They are amazing. I can’t thank them enough.”
