Trucking is a demanding profession that takes drivers to the limits of their mental and physical capabilities – 70% of U.S. drivers have one or more serious medical conditions. Consider hypertension, diabetes, depression, or colon cancer.

Every one of them is one health problem away from losing their income, and their career is capable of exacerbating their conditions. It’s a largely sedentary lifestyle that takes drivers away from their homes, making access to their primary care physician difficult. Many medical clinics or healthcare providers don’t even allow trucks to park on their property, removing care access from the road, too.

Taking care of these drivers is paramount. They keep our economy running, we should keep their lives, families, and careers running. St. Christopher sees this, and we partner with them because of it. When medical hardships fall on truckers, St. Christopher cares for them financially and buoys them back to stability.

That’s why we donate to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund.
